Frizzell Winter Associates is the landscape architecture arm of Northwoods Landscape & Recreation

Frizzell Winter Associates have worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from intimate healing gardens to master planning for public parks. We are fully committed to any project that we work on, and always strive to provide the best services possible to our clients.

"The City of Mountain Iron contracted Frizzell Winter Associates to prepare a concept plan for Locomotive Park, a National Historic Landmark. They have done an outstanding job completing the plan on time. They worked very closely with our City staff, City Council and Park and Recreation Advisory Committee in the development of the plan. The City has now hired them to prepare the landscape construction documents and they have also prepared a grant request for the City for $48,000 from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund Legacy Grant.
